The CFMoto 450MT, a lightweight adventure motorcycle from CFMoto, which made its debut in Nepal for Rs 12.50 Lakh at the ongoing NADA Auto Show 2024 has already become a highlight in the two-wheeler segment of the show.
Rohin Agrawal, Director – Rishi Trade Concern, highlights the positive feedback the CFMoto 450MT received at the show, describing it as a standout with impressive features, technology, power, and performance. He highlights that the bike attracted significant interest, with many visitors taking photos and serious buyers showing strong intent to purchase.
“The key selling points are its twin-cylinder engine, lightweight design, favorable global reviews, and its ability to compete with models like the Tenere 700 and Honda CRF 300/350, rather than directly comparing it to the RE and KTM.”, says Agrawal.
CFMoto is not new to the Nepalese market; it first introduced the NK series of naked motorcycles in 2017 and gained popularity despite strong competition from KTM. However, customers were dissatisfied with the previous distributor’s poor aftersales service. Rishi Trade Center, the brand's new distributor in Nepal, aims to improve this perception and advance the brand positively.
With the introduction of the CFMoto 450MT, the brand now offers a product well-suited to Nepal’s diverse terrain. The CF Moto 450 MT is an adventure motorcycle powered by a 450cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine producing 44 bhp and 44 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox.
The bike gets adjustable suspension, front and rear disc brakes with Bosch ABS, and a TFT display with smartphone connectivity. It has 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels, 220mm ground clearance, 820mm seat height, and LED lighting.
